Hand forged railroad spike knife full tang maple handle
Hand forged from a common railroad spike, I use curly maple for the scales. I do all of the work on these with hammer and anvil, and then files and hand sanding. The leather sheaths are 8oz tooled leather. Sheaths are also made here by myself. Railroad spike knives will not achieve a hardness like carbon steel. I tend to sell a lot of these to railroad enthusiasts and workers. Collectible item. Thanks for looking! – Denny
